My Painting goes to an Even BETTER Home

Back at the last School Fair the painting I donated was bought by a nice family. They have since re-framed it and donated it to the school where it hangs opposite the office.

Whatever Floats your Boat

The kayak is finished - and we have our bedroom back!
To give credit where credit's due - Silvio built his new kayak 'The King' in record time and it is absolutely beautiful. Not only that, it works!
He is very happy with it and it only took 3 months. (A very OCD 3 months) he figures about 200 hours. That works out at about 2.3 hours per day, plus he went to work, slept, ate, wrote emails and even showered. And there were even a few days where he didn't touch the boat at all.
He is one amazing guy. (he is gonna write a blog on it)

We love the Sushi Train !

Just up the road there a sushi place with a real choo choo train with a never-ending cargo of delicious treats. Cheap too.

Jakey's New Clothes

Jake loves new clothes, new toys, new tricks - he knows he's pretty special.
The windy winter westerlys suddenly hit a couple of days ago & his naughty Mummy left his last autumn haircut a little late. Hence the jammys.
